The livelihoods of vulnerable communities and effects of climate change are interlinked.

Farming community

• Support farmers’ livelihoods by growing orchards containing fruit bearing trees on their agricultural lands. We also train them in using technologies for post-plantation maintenance of trees. This initiative enables them to earn additional income through forest produce and further training, capacity building and market linkage support.
• Empowering farmers through adoption of regenerative or sustainable agriculture techniques.

Women Entrepreneurs

• Encouraging women entrepreneurship support through capacity building, incubation and acceleration of enterprises, market and finance linkages.
